I have recently served as an Assistant Principal with Liberty County School System. I am excited about my new journey with Bulloch County Schools and look forward to supporting Principal J. PreK - Teachers

Cynthia Key
Cynthia Key

Hello! My name is Cynthia Key. I am grateful and delighted to join the Mill Creek Mustang family! I am originally from Northwest Georgia but have called Statesboro my home for 25 years. My husband, Danny, and I have been happily married for 19 years. We are blessed with two wonderful sons, Brady and Ethan.

My teaching career began in 2005 when I graduated from GSU with my BSEd in Early Childhood Education. After teaching 4th Grade for three years, I found out that I was expecting our first son. I decided to leave the classroom temporarily to be a stay-at-home mom. During my time at home, I fell in love with teaching early literacy and math skills as I "homeschooled" our boys. When our boys were ready for public school, I returned to school as well. During my first few years back in public education, I gained valuable experiences as I worked as a resource teacher with students in Pre-K through 5th Grade in both general education and special education classrooms. I have just completed five wonderful years teaching Kindergarten.

I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to work with Pre-K students this year! Laying the foundation for school success for every student is my greatest passion as an educator.
